Glass fibre reinforcement for needle felt liners

RS Technik AG´s needle felt liners are now also available with a glass fibre reinforcement. This allows a reduction in the static end wall thicknesses and meets increasing demand from customers for glass fibre reinforced liner systems. The new reinforced needle felt liners combine the advantages of both materials: Flexibility, bend mobility and inversibility of needle felt liners AND the high mechanical strength of glass fibre liners. Thanks to the flexible needle felt layers, the side connections are clearly visible in the rebuilt pipe.

The RS CityLiner system has already been granted DIBt approval for the new carrier tube “CityLiner Glass”. As a result, the material identification group according to DWA-M 144-3 was increased from group 2 to group 11. The reinforced PolyLiner Glass hoses are also available for the pre-soaked RS PolyLiner and are currently undergoing the aptitude tests required for DIBt approval.
